How do I remove adware from my computer? Uninstall wont work.?

My norton utilities has detected viruxz.dll, vwlummc.dll, Malware-wipe.exe, and Spyquake2.exe. I also cant get rid of the pop-ups and task bar annoyances.

3. softwares like adaware and spybot will work. ccleaner does the job too
4. try downloading spybot - Search and Destroy :) completely free and does the job...
5. first go on the net and download ad-aware se personal edition at www.lavasoft .com. After installing it, go to the control pannel on your computer and select add or remove programs. Remove anything that you don't recognize. Before rebooting your comp, run ad-aware. Reboot and then get yourself a decent firewall.

7. you can also go to your control panel then on the add /remove button you can delete this program from your computer. I would also do your norton again and let it run all files and see if it took it off. good luck
8. You have at least 2 variants of the SmitFraud infection. Malware-wipe, and Spyquake2 are both indications of Smitfraud. Most "general-purpose" malware programs cannot remove these, as you have found. However there is a specialized removal tool (RogueFix) that has proven effective in removing these pests. 10. Download the registry cleaner & first delete all unwanted files on the computer. Then try to reformat the computer
11. I highly recommend you download superantispyware. It will fix that problem. It is VERY VERY effective and it is free.
