2. You should really be using a combination of tools to help fight off pop-ups, spam, viruses, keyloggers, etc... You need a software firewall, anti-virus program, and spy-ware remover. Try Zone Alarm for the firewall, AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition for the anti-virus, and Ad-Aware for the spyware remover. All these programs are free, and can be found on download.com. A fantastic site. Since installing these programs my scans have been clean.
