If i cannot unistall Adware Alert from my add/remove programs should i reinstall it to remove it or what?

I cannot remove adware alert from my computer, when i try it will not let me unistall it and i did remove the registry key for it so would i have to reinstall it so i could remove it? Or is this a virus? I am not sure what to do but i want it gone, help

1. ok, playing with the registry is dangerous. But, you can attempt to reinstall and uninstall it, or you can delete the program in the registry, registry code by registry code. Google it. There probably is a list of the specific places that you can delete to get rid of it.

3. try to use a registry cleaner. unless you know what you are doing to the registry i recommend you not change it because one mistake can mess up your system.
