Anti Spyware

Everytime I launch my browser I get redirected to a site promoting anti spyware. How do I stop this?

I have run my anti-viral and spyware programs and my system is clean. I have reset my internet options to make yahoo my homepage. But still everytime I launch I end up on this anti-spyware page with a pop up? Is there something I'm overlooking?

  1. you need to completely delete your browser and re-install it.
  2. Your pc is infected. Run an anti-virus program to scan your computer. I would also run a program such as Ad-Aware to scan for bugs and infections. You can go to download.com and get all these free programs. Finally, go to your internet options and change your home page to the page desired.
  3. Get your spyware deal to run a deep scan.. Takes a lot longer but apparently the trojan is hidden a little deeper than the normal scan will pick up.
  4. Most likely you have adware.... download AD-Aware or a trial version of Kaspersky 7.0
  5. On your browser toolbar, go to Tools, then Options, then change the homepage to whatever site you want. Then download an AD-Aware program and clean up your computer of all old cookies and downloads.
  6. Disable Active-X in IE. Disallow pop-ups. Go to your internet zone settings and set that specific website to "disallow." Install Spybot Search & Destroy and immunize.
